Hosting Pre-Concert Talks for Neighborhood Concerts

This week I will be hosting the pre-concert chats for the William Davidson Neighborhood Concerts one hour prior to show time. The programs are really fun, with music by Glinka, Tchaikovksy and Dvorak, led by the talented conductor Ken-David Masur. I’ve known Ken for many years, having grown up in the same circles in New York (his father was music director of the New York Philharmonic, where my mother was a violinist), and I even played viola on his first CD recording (with the Bach Society at Columbia University). The cello soloist is the young French cellist Edgar Moreau, who is incredible!
